FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...

 

Q:  What happens when we arrive for our appointment?

A:  Upon your arrival, you will be required to complete an intake form.  The intake form is 1 page and should only take a few minutes to complete.  Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to give you time to complete and to take care of going to the restroom etc.  Your service begins at the time you are scheduled.  If you are late, your time will still begin at the original appointment time.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment and you will be charged the late reschedule fee.  Please see our Cancellation page for more details.

Q:  I could not find a babysitter for my child, is it ok to bring him with me during my session?

A:  Although we love little ones, children under 16 years old are not permitted in the studio.  We have a very small facility and we are not equipped to supervise small children.

 

Q:  Where do the massages and/or body treatments take place?

A:  We offer a tranquil studio suite in the heart of Stafford, Texas where we provide all of our services.  We also provide mobile massage/spa services (within 20 miles of Stafford, Texas and a minimum 60 min service) for those who want to avoid the traffic and relax in the comfort and privacy of their own home/hotel suite/office/event.  $20 will be added to the mobile service price for mileage, parking fee, etc.  Mobile services outside 20 miles of Stafford can be provided with advance notice and for an additional fee.

 

Q:  How do I prepare for a mobile massage/spa service?

A:  For mobile service, we require an area with enough space for a massage table(s) and walking room around it.  We come equipped with relaxing spa music, table, candles, massage oil/lotion and/or body treatment supplies.  For body treatments, we need access to water and a microwave or if your location has a shower, that will be acceptable.  If this is a special occasion such as an anniversary/birthday/bachelorette party, let us know ahead of time and we will provide special accommodations tailored to your special day.

 

Q:  What can I expect during a massage or body treatment?

A:  Upon entering your private treatment room, your therapist will go over your intake form (which you will complete before the session begins) and discuss any problem areas that need to be addressed.  Your therapist will then leave the room so that you may disrobe to your comfort level.  You will be draped at all times during the session.  If at any time during your session you feel uncomfortable or are not satisfied with the pressure or the service given, please let your therapist know at that time so that it can be resolved and pressure adjusted.  â€‹

 

Q:  What if I am pregnant?  Can I receive services?

A:  We offer prenatal massage after the first trimester.  Be sure to let us know that you are pregnant at the time of your reservation either by text message, email or voice message if we are not able to answer our phone.  If you have a Groupon or LivingSocial voucher, a $10 charge will be added to your service price.

 

Q:  How do I pay for my service(s)?

A:  We accept most major credit cards as well as cash.  At the conclusion of your treatment, payment should be rendered in any form you choose, cash or credit.  No checks please.

Q:  I have a Groupon/Living Social voucher, do I still need to reserve an appointment with a credit card?

A:  Yes, all appointments require a credit card to hold the appointment.  Your credit card will not be charged as long as you adhere to our 24 hour cancellation policy and present your voucher at the time your service is rendered.  StyleSeat does check to see if the credit card is valid by charging $1 to the card and the $1 is returned.

Q:  I have a Groupon/Living Social voucher that is due to expire soon, what do I do if there are no available appointments before my voucher expires?

A:  As long as you reserve your appointment before your voucher expires, your voucher will be honored at full value.  If your voucher has expired, we will still honor the voucher, you will just need to pay the difference of the full service price.

 

Q:  Can I tip my therapist?

A:  Yes of course! Gratuity is not included in your treatment price and is highly appreciated.  The customary gratuity is 20-25% but it is completely up to you.
